Hannah Murray, LPC (she/her)

Hannah’s approach centers on the belief that people are doing the best they can with the circumstances they are experiencing. She takes an unconditional, caring, collaborative approach to support individuals to work through difficult circumstances to heal and grow towards their own wellness goals. She utilizes a person-centered, existential, and holistic approach in counseling to create a safe and supportive environment for clients.

She utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and components of art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, attachment-based therapy, and nature-based therapy among others. Hannah helps clients to process and work through past and present stressful life experiences, explore beliefs that they have about themselves and the world, develop healthy coping skills, increase awareness, improve emotion regulation and communication skills, and develop and improve relationships.

Hannah specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults, but also works with people of all ages. She works with individuals who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, stress or trauma-related issues, communication and relationship challenges, emotion regulation, identity exploration, and career issues, among others.

Hannah holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Oregon State University Cascades and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio University. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), including group and recent trauma protocols (G-Tep and R-Tep).

In her free time, Hannah loves to spend time with her husband and their dog. She spends most of her time outdoors and loves to trail run, among other beloved outdoor activities.
